Gas Fire
This is a conventional open fronted gas fire which doesn’t require an vent as the heat input is less than 7.0kW. The gas fire is suitable for natural gas only and requires an 8mm pipe to supply the gas to the fire.
Class 2 - Pre-Fabricated Flue System
This fire is compatible with a Class 2 Pre-Fabricated Flue System with a minimum internal diameter of 5" (127mm) or greater.
Class 1 - Chimney / Flue System
This fire is compatible with a Class 1 conventional brick chimney or Pre-Fabricated Flue System with a minimum internal diameter of 7" (180mm) or greater.
Gas Safe Register

Remote Control
This fire is available in remote control.
This remote control system requires a permanent pilot meaning the pilot must be lit manually before the remote control is functional. The remote control can be used to control the operation of the fire from high to low.
NB: The valve is situated at the bottom of the fire behind the fret. The valve must be used to initally light the fire. It also acts as an override in the absence of the remote control handset.

Manual - Rotary Control
This fire is available in manual - rotary control. It incorporates a piezo spark ignition which doesn't require a battery and allows you to operate the fire from LOW to HIGH and turn the fire ON/OFF. The rotary control is located at the bottom of the fire, behind the decorative fret (ashpan).

The Sonora is a full depth inset tapered burner tray designed to fit a standard chair brick (also commonly referred to as a fire back). Chair bricks are popular in older homes with a class 1 brick chimney, orginally used for burning solid fuel. The Sonora requires a min. 178mm / 7" pre-fabricated flue system or conventional brick chimney. It is classed as a Decorative Gas Fire (DGF) and is capable of providing up to 2.4kW heat output (Gross). The Sonora produces a lovely full depth flame picture however, as this is an open fronted fire placed within a chair brick (without a modern firebox).
The Sonora can be specified in Manual Control (Rotary) or Remote Control and is available with coal, pebble or log fuel bed.
The Grove fret is a very popular cast design with sophisticated styling. The elegant understated horizontal bars and subtle curved profile allows the Grove to equally suit contemporary, modern or traditional home decors. The Grove fret is available in: brass (solid brass), chrome (chrome plated brass), black (lightweight aluminium). It is designed to free stand in front of the fire. The ashpan is a separate component and provides access to the controls.
