Gas Fire
This is a conventional open fronted gas fire which doesn’t require an vent as the heat input is less than 7.0kW. The gas fire is suitable for natural gas only and requires an 8mm pipe to supply the gas to the fire.
No Chimney or Flue Required
This fire doesn not require a chimney or flue to operate. We have a wide choice of flueless gas fires or electric fires for you to choose from.
Manual Switch Control
This fire has a manual switch control to operate the fire.
Manual - Rotary Control
This fire is available in manual - rotary control. It incorporates a piezo spark ignition which doesn't require a battery and allows you to operate the fire from LOW to HIGH and turn the fire ON/OFF. The rotary control is located at the bottom of the fire, behind the decorative fret (ashpan).
Powerflue
Powerflue Gas Fires use a short length of twin-walled flue to expel waste gases. The powerflue gas fire is not sealed from the room, instead it is open fronted and draws air from the room to use in the combustion process. Waste gases are then pulled through the flue tube by an electric fan assembly which is discreetly mounted to the outside wall. A mains power supply is required to operate a powerflue gas fire.

The Asaba Powerflue is a slimline convector inset gas fire designed for homes without a chimney or flue. The Asaba features a clever heat exchanger that provides convected heat in addition to standard radiant heat. This improves the efficiency to an impressive 58% and as a result the Asaba is able to achieve a heat output of 3.3kW - more than sufficient to warm any medium to large room.
The Asaba's versatile slimline convector firebox fits a standard fireplace opening, normally 16" wide x 22" high (please refer to product specification). Thanks to its shallow installation depth of 125mm the Asaba is a very popular choice for modern homes seeking an open fronted gas fire where minimum depth and maximum heat is a priority.
The Asaba can be specified with coal or pebble effect fuel bed. It is available as Manual Control (Rotary). The Asaba is not available with any of our Timeless cast frames.
The Casona is a premium contemporary frame in chrome effect finish. The design features three curved horizontal bars that seamlessly blend into the frame for a minimalist aesthetic. The Casona has been specially engineered from extruded aluminium to create a unique design with precision detailing that requires no pre-assembly. Another unique feature of this frame is that the lower two bars are designed to be a clever ashpan which when removed allows access to the controls, if applicable (model dependent). The Casona frame is held in position with magnets (supplied).
