Our Westbury modern inset gas fires don't require a flue or chimney, instead the combustion gases pass through a catalytic converter system, positioned at the top of the fire, which converts the products of combustion into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapour, levels of which are so low they are typically present in fresh air.

Modern Gas Fire Installation and Advice
The Westbury range of modern flueless inset gas fires require a minimum room size of 27m³ and purpose provided air vent of 100cm² in the room of installation. The Westbury can be installed flush against a flat wall or backpanel if fitted with the optional 155mm spacer frame. *Excludes the Westbury Positano model.
The Westbury range of flueless inset contemporary gas fires require a 8mm natural gas supply to the installation point.
