Fireplace Reduction frames have been designed for fireplace openings which have a non-standard fireplace opening e.g. Purbeck stone bespoke fireplace. In these types of installation the backpanel/opening is generally slightly larger then a standard 16" x 22" (406 x 559 mm) and often uneven which makes it difficult to form a seal for the firebox.
Fireplace reduction frames are intended to aid installation of our Superior Fires only. They may not always be suitable for each and every one of our fires or installation. It is up to the Gas Safe registered engineer to determine suitability. Superior Fires does not take any responsibility for any incorrect specification or installation. Please note: This item gets extremely hot and therefore not recommended for Top Control fires where the control mechanism is located close to the Fireplace Reduction Frame surface.
Chimney/Flue requirements vary. Please check that the fireplace opening dimensions are suitable for the fire you want before you order.
Please note: Reduction frames are only approved to be used with the Superior Fires products. Not suitable for Westbury Flueless gas fires.
